As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment and processes to meet production goals while upholding our quality standards. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of our operations.
In this role you will:
- Operate Injection Molding Machines / Auxiliary Equipment and Troubleshoot Processing Issues.
- Complete mold hanging procedures using overhead Crane to move molds and equipment.
- Ensure FOD Cleanliness of Injection Molds.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Executes Injection Molding Set-Ups that comply with Quality Standards
- Operates Hot Runner System & Controllers
- Sets molding safety parameters on IMM’s
- Follows Quality Control and Manufacturing Processes & Procedures
- Promotes Continuous Improvement toward projected RRR
- Operates the Chiller / Thermolator Systems
- Has a working knowledge of facility’s Mechanical Systems
- Produce conforming parts and troubleshoots to solve part or mold issues
- Provide assistance to the Tooling Department.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies
- Intermediate Level Process Technician (Injection Molding)
- Strong problem solver
- Mechanical Aptitude / Physical Ability
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education or Experience preferred
- High School completion (OSSD or OSSC)
- Injection Molding Training
- Control Systems (PLC)
- Plastics and Molding experience
- Knowledge of SPC and QC Data collection
- Decision-Making/Judgment
- Shiftwork – 12-hour shifts, Continental Rotation
